Dry and Oily Skin Treatment
Skin types can be broadly classified into five categories. These are oily, sensitive, dry, combination, and sun-damaged. This article mainly concentrates on dry and oily skin treatment.
Introduction
The amount of oil that your skin produces is the main basis that helps to identify your skin type. Once your skin type has been determined, respective skin treatments can be followed to keep your skin healthy and fresh. In case you have a dry skin, anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle creams should be used regularly to avoid development of fine wrinkles and lines. To avoid the problems related with oily skin, beauty products that can control or absorb the excessive natural oil produced by your body should be used. Make sure that you buy only branded beauty products for your skin. It is also advisable to go in for natural or organic skin treatments instead of chemical based beauty products.
Oily skin
People with oily skin have a shiny skin that has large pores. Such skin types are more prone to blemishes, pimples, and Blackheads. Oily skin products such as cucumber face packs, lemon cleansers, Rose cleansers, and mineral cleansing concentrates should be used on a regular basis. Even oily skin requires moisturizing but the moisturizer used should not be oil based. It should be specifically prepared for people with oily skin. Dry skin treatment
People with dry skin have lower production of sebum in their body that makes it difficult for the skin to retain an appropriate amount of moisture. Due to high buildup of dead skin, people with dry skin also suffer from skin dullness. Dry skin products such as natural moisturizers or dry skin face packs should be used regularly to keep the skin healthy. Mild cleansers should be used instead of soaps. Regular massage with a body and face lotion can also help to treat dryness of your skin.
